Jane Griffiths, Jewellery Artist

Jane Griffiths

(aka Poet & Cat)

I initially trained as a bookbinder at the London College of Printing, but began making jewellery in 2008, when I took classes with Alice Goldsack in Bristol. I work mainly in sterling silver and copper, and use semi-precious stones as well as china and sea-glass collected from beaches in Cornwall and polished in the studio. I am a member of Chipping Norton Arts as well as of the Church Lane Gallery.

My website shows more of my jewellery as well as some of my bindings and other artefacts. The name was chosen partly because of my other life as a writer – see - and partly in homage to my now very elderly rescued British Blue, Smokey.
