Jane Griffiths, Jewellery Artist

Jane Griffiths

(aka Poet & Cat)

Jane initially trained as a bookbinder at the London College of Printing, but began making jewellery in 2008, when she took classes with Alice Goldsack in Bristol. She works mainly in sterling silver and copper, using semi-precious stones as well as china and sea-glass collected from beaches in Cornwall and polished in her studio. She is a member of Chipping Norton Arts as well as Church Lane Gallery.

Her website shows more of her jewellery as well as some of her bindings and other artefacts. The name was chosen partly because of her other life as a writer and partly in homage to her now very elderly rescued British Blue, Smokey.
