Painting began as a way to quiet my mind and reconnect with parts of myself that had been lost through the years. What started as a deeply personal process of healing has grown into an exploration of emotion, memory and our relationship with the natural world.

Inspired by landscapes, wildlife and the quiet beauty found in nature, I create paintings that exist somewhere between reality and imagination. Through layered colour and atmosphere, I seek to capture moments of stillness, wonder and emotional connection. Whether depicting animals, people or places, my work invites viewers into spaces that feel both familiar and dreamlike.

Working in mixed media with inks, acrylics and oils, I build translucent layers and glazes to create depth, light and movement. Each painting develops slowly, allowing colour and texture to emerge in much the same way that emotions and memories reveal themselves over time.

My hope is that these paintings offer a moment to pause; to reconnect with nature, with emotion  and with the quieter parts of ourselves that are often forgotten in the pace of everyday life. I will aim to take photos of myself and my work soon but in the meantime I have added my autoportrait.
